Sightseeing flights in the area of the Trail of the Eagles’ Nests / Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska can be organized from the Hotel Poziom 511 (ul. Bonerów 33, 42-440 Podzamcze near Ogrodzieniec).
Sightseeing flights in the area of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland can also be organized in other selected sites, e.g. in the area of Ogrodzieniec, Bobolice, Zawiercie, Olsztyn. The choice of the helicopter’s take-off and landing site is related to a fee covering the costs of the helicopter’s flight from Bielsko-Biała to the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland and its return to Bielsko-Biała. The time needed for the arrival / return of the helicopter to / from the landing site of the selected hotel or place is calculated individually based on the arrival time, including the time needed to start and stop the helicopter twice (about 10 minutes). Due to the Polish regulations on flying over restricted zones, sightseeing flights are not possible over the Ojców National Park. However, flights are allowed via the Trail of the Eagles’ Nests from the Ogrodzieniec area to Częstochowa. Most of the local attractions (castles and rocks) can be seen in a 30-minute flight from the Hotel Level 511. A special attraction is the Ogrodzieniec Castle in Jurassic Podzamcze, which became the setting for the movie “The Witcher” and became the top attraction in 2020 in the portal’s poll tourist destination PolskieSzlaki.pl.

Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska – when can I make a sightseeing flight?
Sightseeing flights are organized on selected weekends with appropriate weather conditions, usually during the summer period. You can also place an individual helicopter order even when it is unavailable at the Hotel landing site. The exact cost of the order is determined on the basis of the prices listed below and the pilot’s valuation.
NOTE! Flights are not organized regularly, but on an individual order. Notification about the availability of the helicopter in Podzamcze near Ogrodzieniec can be obtained by phone, however, in principle, the helicopter will have to reach the indicated place. Confirmation of the intention of stationing the helicopter by Helipoland at the landing field in Podzamcze near Ogrodzieniec on selected weekends or days outside of periods of increased tourist traffic, is possible on an ongoing basis, not more than one week in advance. Confirmation of the appropriate weather conditions for the stationing of the helicopter is possible with an advance notice of no more than 3 days. The helicopter arrives at Podzamcze near Ogrodzieniec or another town in the Jura, usually from the main base in Bielsko-Biała or the landing site in Krakow. The arrival of the helicopter ordered individually is priced depending on the flight time of the helicopter (1 hour for the flight from the main base in Bielsko-Biała) and the type of the helicopter.

- EUR 270 for a standard flight on route Ogrodzieniec – Smoleń Castle– Błędowska Desert – Ogrodzieniec. Duration about 15 minutes, minor modifications of the route are possible with the consent of the pilot.
- EUR 540 for standard flight on route Ogrodzieniec Castle – Bobolice Castle – Janów – Olsztyn Castle – Ogrodzieniec Castle. Duration about 30 minutes, major modification of the route is possible with the consent of the pilot.
- EUR 1080 for standard flight around The Trail of the Eagles’ Nests (Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska). Duration about 60 minutes, any modification of the route is possible as agreed with the pilot.

What else is important in organizing sightseeing flights?
All the above-mentioned prices of scenic flights include the entire helicopter (all seats), regardless of the number of passengers. Free seats can be replenished at the helipad during ongoing flights, or if we have registered those willing to partially fill the helicopter, we will inform ourselves about the possibility of flying on the remaining free spaces.
Reservation of another helicopter type for the purpose of organizing sightseeing flights, e.g. Eurocopter EC 130 helicopter for 6 passengers, is priced individually (arrival of an EC 130 helicopter at a price of not less than EUR 2160).
* Flight time: according to international standards, it is the time from the moment the rotor blades begin to rotate until the moment the helicopter finally comes to a stop after flight and the rotor blades come to a stop.
** Note: in order to perform flights on agreed dates, in addition to the appropriate meteorological conditions, it is necessary to have the appropriate instruction of the pilot dedicated to the flight and the appropriate technical condition of the helicopter, which is verified in detail before each flying day or additionally before the flight.
