Safety Management (SMS)

Report safety threat / incident

Safety Management System (SMS) – means a systematic approach to safety management, including the necessary organizational structures, responsibilities, policies and procedures, and includes any management system that – independently or in an integrated manner with other organizational management systems – applies to security management.

Aviation is characterized by tremendous technological leaps and bounds over the last century. Such progress would not have been possible without parallel achievements in the field of control and reduction of threats to aviation safety. Taking into account the dangers associated with the occurrence of injuries or damage to aviation, aviation-related persons sought from the very beginning to prevent accidents. Through the disciplined application of best safety management practices, there has been a significant decrease in the frequency of occurrences in aviation.
